NEOLITHIC QUARK SERIES

Steve Miller - Neolithic QuarkThis project documents a conceptual time-line from the earliest efforts of civilization to the current scientific investigations about the nature of matter. Working with physicists at Brookhaven National Laboratory, data was collected from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, a particle accelerator where the scientists are studying quark gluon plasma, the state of matter immediately following Big Bang. The Brookhaven research data and computer software contrasts the human activity evident from the earliest period of Neolithic Chinese pottery.
