Steve Miller Rides Another Wave of Success

Steve Miller, Sagaponack resident and one of my personal favorite creative people, is crushing it.
The successful and prolific artist has several new big deal events happening right now: three big things just this week alone!
Yesterday he was at Bloomingdale’s in Manhattan to kick off his “X-Ray Amazon Animal Surfboard” collection, which will grace the windows of the flagship Lexington Avenue location starting April 22. The windows will be on view through May 4. I can’t wait to check them out.
Tonight the “Flora Fauna & Form” group exhibit at Refinery Hotel in the city opens. The show also features the work of Chick Bills, Sean Capone, Jose Carlos Casado, Sally Egbert, Cara Enteles, Tapp Franke, Jerome Lucani, Glenn Marshall and Jeff Muhs and was curated by Beth McNeill and Kristin Miller.
Out East, Steve’s work will be on view at LongHouse Reserve’s “Rites of Spring” season opener on Saturday, April 19, in East Hampton. Oh how I love this place! A reception will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Hope to see you there.
